Wool Shawl, At Last

Blue Scarf

Finally, I've got pictures of the wool shawl. It's been off the loom for ages, but there was always some reason not to take photos - it was night, it was raining, I was golfing... yadayadayada.

I really like the way it turned out. The coziness of it, the length and width are great. I soaked it in Eucalan, rolled it in a towel and that was it. I haven't steam pressed it. Haven't decided if I will. I haven't brushed it either, which would be something to consider with all the mohair. But I kind of like it just like it is, and I'm sure it will fluff up some just by being used.

Here's a detail:

It's a gorgeous day in Iowa! No heat wave for at least a week!

I sure do like the colors and yarns in your shawl. Great use of stash.
