Sweater Update

Ok, I've got the back and the left front for this sweater in the can...so to speak. All my mixed up yarns, my textury, variegated, handpainted, and hand dyed yarns seem to be working together (mostly).

I was a little unhappy with the neck and shoulder edge bind off. In stockinette, of course, it curls. I don't think the design of this pattern was very well thought through. And, wouldn't you know, the only picture of this sweater is of the front, so I don't know if the back is supposed to curl. Be that as it may, I will just have to add a ribbed neck and front edge once the pieces are put together.

This strategy will have more than one purpose. It will take care of the curlage, and it will also disguise all the unevenness of the different weights of yarn on the selvages.

Any delays in blogging are solely due to good weather and the call of the yard and the golf course. heh.
